Pablo Picasso once observed that "Art is the elimination of the unnecessary."
It is a striking thought, but apply it to figure skating jumps and something interesting happens: technical precision and artistic beauty suddenly become the exact same thing. True efficiency in the air isn't about adding flair. It comes down to stripping away every single non-essential movement until only pure mechanics remain.
