  • Elite flight height: achieving sufficient vertical displacement is a major win. This confirms you have the explosive power necessary to complete the rotation before making contact with the ice.

  • Rotational completion: your ability to finish the rotation in the air is a "1" on the technical scale. This means your snap velocity is already at a level that supports high-level execution.

  • The preparation phase (priority #1): the most critical failure occurs before the jump even begins. An unstable entrance creates a "snowball effect" that ruins the weight transfer.
    The fix: lock the entry.
    The feel: feel like you are a compressed coil ready to spring.
